Personal Information

I grew up in the home of a SBC pastor in Mississippi. I enjoy fishing and hunting. My wife Christina is from Lexington, KY, and an E.R. nurse in Louisville. We have one daughter, Abigail. We look forward to marriage filled with service together in the local church and in the world.

Statement of Call and Philosophy of Ministry

I feel God has issued a divine call upon me to teach the Holy Bible and serve in the local Baptist church. I have a Christ driven passion for evangelism as well as missions. I aim to live a life that seeks the glory of God, and the expansion of His Kingdom.

I strive to teach in a style which relates the eternal message of Scripture in a relevant way. I seek to impact my community based on Scripture. By focusing on a community, and seeking to grow godly “families”-the church grows in depth and reaches a needy world, which experiences life with “church family” members. I believe in the practice of personal and church holiness.

Job Description/Responsibilities: Interim Pastor/ All pastoral duties. While at BBC, I strive to exposit Scripture, aid in the transition between pastors, shepherd the congregation, and counsel in spiritual growth. I also implemented a successful small group ministry.

Job Description/Responsibilities: Intern Pastor/ Act in the capacity of Assistant Pastor, this includes teaching, personal evangelism, personal discipleship, preaching, and counseling. During my tenure at Inner City B.C.(a mission of FBC Dallas), I preached of average of twice a week, spending time daily among new residents at the Dallas Life Foundation (a Dallas homeless shelter) in order to share the Gospel, and give spiritual guidance and training.
